You are about to read a variety of good myths by our very own students and they have spent alot of time and work on this. We have Terrell King 's myth that is about his three friends and him who try and benefit themselves and their friend truck who is in love with the streets so they try and help him to live a good life. Another great story by slink , it is about a assassin trying to find his son a very good myth. Brian Nunez a regular textbook myth that is about magic, witches, and fairy tale creatures. Good story check it out. Tishaya James story I think is the best story I've read so far because her story was about a princess that gets kidnapped from her family and when she got kidnapped she realized that everything was not about her in the world and thats what the story about. Marcus Jenkins wrote a very good story about a king named Rizel Hardus who face mortal defeat from a arch villain by the name of SAMAEL. It all takes a bad turn when after celebrating SAMAEL visits the king in the night. This is a very talented writer to me and alot of other students a story is by Donte Lindasay, This story is about a heroic family that get banned from the united states and they try to redeem themselves by doing good deeds. Another writer who has alot of talent writing so this is a myth by a very good writer Marcus A. Cardwell. This story is about a battle between two supreme beings and the worth of man. The Legend Of Rizel

A young warrior and king by the name of Rizel Hardus a guardian of the great land of Geist. Lord of a blade and the most feared amongst any beast. Named craved in caves in blood, slashing through the barrier of any great legend. No figure has ever crossed his sword and lived to tell tale the next day except for one person so horrible and fowl. SAMAEL. His name strikes fear in lands, smoke and flames rise every time his feet wake on soil. He is the archangel, death on legs. Days begin to be prolonged waiting for SAMAEL to come again. Rizel sent out troops to find him but none found him. They sailed the oceans and failed to have any progress on his where abouts. Days, months, and years passed the search faded and once again the land seemed quite and Rizel and his grand army rested their heads comfortably.

The kingdom of Geist held a feast to celebrate the peace across the land. Wine, beer and a table full of all the food you can imagine.

" Your majesty It is a great day. We the Geistians are extremely happy the land's peace is finally restored".The man says continuing his way to the mountain of food in front of him as he swallows his beer.

"My lord do you think he will return?" Grim asked very worried.

"I wish I had the answer you were looking for." Rizel Whispers as another local approaches.

" Why so glum you should be celebrating. The intoxicated man says while raising his cup to the air. "Everyone cheers to the kings battle against SAMAEL finally coming to an end."

The crowd proceeds in a frenzy the army of Rizel's stomaches dropped knowing the SAMAEL wont stop till Geist is up in flames.But you may ask why SAMAEL and Rizel have such a rivalry. About years before Rizels father passed and he became king SAMAEL and his family lived in geist before their house went up in flames. The house was set on fire due to Rizel. He had been carrying a torn in the night with his father and the guards. why they were out their so late in the night seems as though they were committing an arson. SAMAEL had seen them that night and burned in the house. He lived and swore that he would return the pain and suffering his family and him endured to the whole kingdom.

That night as Rizel slept he awoke in the middle of the night to a letter on his mantle. Rizel had seen it and went over to pick it up. As he read he feared the worst for the days ahead. the letter read:

I am Still here i haven't left. I've just been behind the scenes. but don't hold you breath anymore i will make my final apperance and it will be as you say a grand day for blood.

As he placed the letter down he alerted The Guards and Grim. He went back to his room and sat in bed worried even more he knew that while he was gone he was planning something and if he could get so close that the whole kingdom wasn't safe and feared for the next day.

"Rizel! Wake Up We Have Trouble In The Arena". shoving him to a awaken state, Grim gathered the armor.

"Is it Samael?" He asks very Prepared.

"No my lord."

"Then why trouble my sleep if you are trained to take care of it?"

"Someone has challenged your blade my lord."

"Oh a glorious day for blood shed."

"Yes It Sure Is."

Rizel Suited up in the most finest of armors trimmed with a gold platted chest plate shined after every battle. Gold lion on the front of his shield and a sword graved with his chant of war. "With this stroke I paint the earth below."

Sun gleaming across the courtyard, dust kick up as he gracefully shuffles to the entrance. Soaking the glory of the crowd gathered inside the grand stadium.

"Grim the locals were alerted?" he asked making his last adjustments

"Of course they've paid good money to see you slay this man who doesn't know of your legend."

Grim says handing him his sword and helmet.As he approached the man he realized he wasn't the average challenger of the kingdom. He stood three or four feet over Rizel, Chest branded with cuts and bruises. one eye gone the other barely open, grinding his teeth stained with blood, placing his feet in the ground.

" Why no blade? Do you know of me? Maybe not-Rizel Hardus The slayer, the peace keeper, And a hand that is one with the blade." He says raising his blade at the mysterious figure

"Ugggghhhhhh!" He screams, charging at Rizel

He takes a step back as the man runs by, dust curls and again the figure emerges from the smoke this time from an angle clashing into the shield, grinding his teeth, and feet still pumping through the earth. Knocking Rizel off balance, He gains his feet now realizing the seriousness of the task at hand. Standing firmly he braces his shield and raises his sword eyes looking and searching. He charges this time he jumps into the glare of the sun above Rizel. Thrusting his fist downward upon his shield. Rizel driving the shield into his rib cage the beast chuckles a laugh and speaks in a deep voice as he falls back into a ackward stance.

"Ready Now. HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"Never been More Ready"

They both run toward each other, A slash from the blade of Rizel carves through the beast. not fazing him he continues to run into Rizel grabbing him, then tossing him down to the ground. As he walks around the laying warrior he laughs then picking him up by his feet he begins to spin. Shield scattering across the arena, and the blade falling perfect in the ground. He tosses him down again and Rizel gets up, now disarmed and still pondering on the where abouts of his weapons. Finally he regains his composure and waits as the beast approaches.

" I have an announcement I am the apprentice of SAMAEL. I am not only here for your king but im here to KILL you all."

The crowed appalled and fearful breakout into a stampede to the exits. As Rizel's army gather in the arena. Rizel gets his weapons back. Just as they all get ready to strike the beast a loud uproar from the rear entrance just as they turn SAMAEL barges through the door.

"Starting without me." He chuckles at the end standing with several others.

They adjust them selves toward both sides. Rizel emerges from the army head held high looking inside SAMAEL'S eyes. Not a word was exchanged after he made his entrance. Many say they battled for weeks and months but it doesnt matter what legend says. All we know is that SAMAEL still walks the earth and Rizel Is no more.

REVIEW

This lengthy story is a charming read, and full of excitment and adventure. The people that have commented on this myth have had little to change. I can assure though that the little things that were changed have made this myth surpass all expectations. Rizel the main character has trials that he has to go to with other character.

My Myth By: Terrell

so we got on the bus and the bus got a flat on the freeway on the way to n.y.c so we will be
STORY SYNOPSIS Terrell, Shequan, and Truck are three friends from the same neighborhood. Terrell and Shequan box to keep out of trouble, but Truck stays in the streets hustling. Terrell and Shequan try to convince Truck to join them in boxing to keep him out of trouble. It works for a little bit but Truck eventually goes back to the streets. In the end, Terrell and Shequan try to get Truck into a summer job program to help him out. MORAL Good friends are hard to find.
ACT I introduce chracters (Terrell, Shequan and Truck) introduce scene (the neighborhood and the boxing gym) set up problem (Trying to get Truck to leave the streets)
ACT II show successes (Terrell and Shequan convince Truck to box) show the setback (Truck quits boxing for the streets)

Terell is a tall, black handsome young man. He is a sixteen year old who enjoys boxing. Terrell has two friends, Shequan and Truck, whom he spends a lot of time kicking it with after school. The crew have been friends for 6 years now. Terrell, Shequan and Truck all live in the city of Boston and in their free time they like to just hang out at the mall and play video games. After a while, Terrell begins to notice that Truck is getting into a bit of trouble in the streets. Lately he's been getting into fights and arguing with his mother. Terrell feels like he should do something to help.
Terrell's sister introduces the idea of boxing to keep Terrell busy. He thinks it sounds like a good idea because it was something to do and it is a good way to release some anger and aggression. Wanting his friends to be apart, Terrell tried to convince Truck and Shequan to join. Shequan agreed willingly and Truck was not so sure that he wanted to do it. Truck only ended up boxing for one month. He decided to quit and try to make money selling rocks on the streets. Terrell was beginning to become concerned about Truck because he was headed down the wrong path.
Terrell tries a different approach. He talks his guidance counselor at school to see what he could do to help Truck get a real job. They found an opportunity for Truck working at a community center in an after school program. Truck did not want to work with kids - he was just making excuses because he did not want to leave the streets. After a couple years Truck and Terrell eventually grew apart. Truck's new lifestyle tore them apart. Truck ended going to jail for two years for selling drugs.
Years after their fallen out, Truck had contacted Terell on Facebook. Truck realized that Terrell was a great friend. He was ready to turn his life around and he turned to Terrell for help and decided to do boxing. Him and Terrell boxed at the same gym for years. They're relationship was growing stronger and stronger. They were winning matches reguarly and everyone was happy. Terrell, Shequan and Truck remain friends today.

My names James Saunders, I am a junior at ridge wood high. I play on the basketball team, and our basketball team has not made the playoffs or got a state championship since I was on varsity as a freshmen. I made varsity when I was a freshmen, everybody was surprised but I was not, I knew I had the skills to make varsity I was also a starter so I was really one of the best things going on in ridge wood high. This year, I am determined to win state championship.

Me and my coach are very close with each other he's known me since I was just 7 years old. He was a math teacher for the ninth graders. When it was lunch time I always went to his room for lunch and we would just talk. He told me he needed to tell me something very important and he did not want me to say anything to anyone. He told me that their was a 6'5 shooting guard coming to our school that he recruited from France while he was in vacation over there. He had mentioned that he went to the courts and saw the kid play and he was good, his handles were amazing. Coach told me that his name was Ron Paul. I was a slightly jealous at first because I was the star of the team but I just thought to myself it would be nice to actually have some help. I was thinking that we can go all the way with just two really good players. Coach told me that he was coming in one week but we wanted him to be a surprise to everyone so he was just going to be a regular new kid at the school but when ball season came around he would share the spotlight with me.
It was a week later it looked like Ron was getting more comfortable he was making friends and even becoming friendly with teachers. I noticed Ron started hanging out with a very bad group of kids, they were actually a big group of bullies. I didn't really pay attention because i thought that Ron was a good kid and he wouldn't let the group he was with influence to do any bad things at all.Ron started to kind of bully some kids with the group he was with but I didn't really care for it it looked like he was just playing because he had a big smile on his face when he was doing the whole thing.
Tryouts were today and their was a boat of new freshmen trying out and a few Cophmores and like two or three juniors. I was exited i was hanging out with mostly everybody from last years team we were on the bleachers gossiping about all the new people that were trying out, Then we seen Ron the biggest kid out there putting up a few shots and i watched him he only missed one shot in the whole half hour that everyone was warming up for tryouts. Coach Collins blew the whistle and told everyone to go to the baseline. Their was three other coaches with him coach Williams, Johnson, Jennings. They were asking everyone for names and grades. Coach Johnson and Jennings took care of the freshmen and sophomores because they were automatically on junior varsity. Coach Collins and Williams took the juniors and seniors. We went to a different gym from the JV players so we could have a whole court to ourselves. Coach broke us up into four different teams. Me and him went at it shot after shot with each other.
The next day the team was posted me and Ron were the first two names up there. We had practice but while I was in the locker room I heard Ron and someone else surprisingly I seen him trying to take some kids money but I thought he was just playing. Time passed and we were getting ready for our first game. Ron seemed to be more aggressive with everyone in practice and was started not be the nice guy I thought he was. After our last practice Ron was in the locker room before everybody going through bags and everything I did not pay attention. Today was the day of our first game. It was first block I seen Ron in my physics teachers class going through his bag while my teacher just watched then he started beating my teacher up after he had taken all of his stuff. Ron and my physics teacher were really close with each other so I thought they were just playing so I didn't pay any attention to it all.
Today was our first game everybody had on the school colors red and black. It was the end of the day and it was game time. Everybody was in the locker room getting geared up. I was talking to Will he was on the team last year and hes a junior. He told me if I knew about what Ron was doing to other students and guys on the team. He said that he was stealing and taking everybody's stuff bullying everyone also. I wasn't really surprised I believed how couldn't you. He hung out with a group of bullies I've seen him take peoples stuff, but I would hold all that off until after the game. It was game time me and Ron were in the back court. We got the ball first after tip off. Me and Ron went off in the first half i had 25 and he had 24 points. the score was 55-50 we were up. We came out of half time ready to play. Ron went off and scored another 20 points I scored another 22. game was close 108-110 with eight seconds left. We let our point guard try and take the last shot he rushed up the court with the ball and he took a quick pull up and it rimmed out. I looked at Ron at the end of the game he was so mad. Once everyone left the lockers Ron was still in there with our point guard I heard slamming and everything I ran over pulled Ron off of him and i had to slam him down and tie him down until my coach came. Once he did he took Ron but I had heard Ron had ran away from the police and our coach and was never seen again. People sometimes like taking up the fame and when that happens they get into themselves.

This other new age story has an element of modern events and an old time story. The intelegence behing this myth is staggering.

Once a upon a time there was a Princess named Kelzy. She lived in a kingdom in in Boston By the Harbor in Nantasket Beach. The kingdom was very spacious. The princess had her own servants while she was in the kingdom, and one of the servants name was Marcus. Marcus was a spy but the princess did not know and she was very close to him. Her father King Edgar and his Queen Ella were worried about the princesses relationship with the servant Marcus. Princess Kelzy was 19 years old and she was in a relationship with a prince from another country and she wanted to marry him. The prince name was Kevin, her parents like him very much.
That day in the evening the family was having a ball with all the people in the kingdom. They had food and drinks. Princess Kelzy was wonderfully dressed with the beautiful gown for the ball. When the ball started, the princess walked down her grand stair case as her grand entrance. The ball was going good. The princess danced with the other guest that wanted to dance with her. She loved dancing with prince Kevin who was also her boyfriend. After about an hour and half everyone else started to dance and having fun together.
That night the ball started to end and everybody was leaving. All of a sudden, Servant Marcus kidnaps Princess Kelzy in plain sight. When the king seen her running with the servant that had a gun to her he called the guards to the rescue but it doesnt happen cause the servant and the princess is missing. King Edgar and his Queen Ella was doing they can to find there daughter. And that night the king and queen went to sleep for the next morning.
The next morning now the princess is away from her family and with her liar, slash, ex best friend in some other area of the kingdom. The princess is thinking to her self sayin "how come i never seen this area before". The Servant is on the phone talking to his leader who told him to kid nap her. The princess is mad of what her old best friend did.
They start talking about why he did this................ "Princess Kelzy lets go we have to keep going" said Marcus
" NO! im not going with you i want to go back home take me home NOW!" said Princess Kelzy
" I can't it is my mission to take you to my boss" said Marcus
" You betrayde me I thought you was my friend, who are you?" said Princess
" I know I did it was job to make friends with you and then stop being friends" said Marcus
" Why is that you took me from my kingdom and my Family" said the Princess
" I took you because my boss has a request for you to do for him, I don't what he wants you to do but he wanted me to kid nap you. If you call your father or try to run away i have to kill you so don't try" said Marcus
" Okay i wont run but I don't want to do anything that i don't want to do. This is crazy why are you doing this.. I thought you was better than that, I thought you was a good person not an bad person" said Princess Kelzy
" Well I don't know Princess but i all i know is that you have to follow what I say and thats final, Do you understand?" said Marcus
" Okay what ever. I'm tired i want to go to sleep. where can i sleep?" as the princess goes on about how she is tired.
" right here in this cave on these blanket" after Marcus said that they made there way over there.
The Servant and Princess went to sleep and the night ended. The next morning Marcus and Kelzy went on there way to the boss to do the request that he wants. During the trip or hike the princess is asking question in her head wondering " Why i never seen this part of the kingdom that is soon to be her's. The princess is getting tired of walking and she wants to go home where she belongs and she knows its not going to happen. Later that day Princess Kelzy and marcus stopped for some food and drinks then Kelzy asked him something....
" why are you acting like this" said Kelzy
" because I dont have nobody in my life to be there for me so i do act like i do" said Marcus
" i was there for you at all times when you was working for me at the time before all this, i believed in you an you messed it now" said Princess
" You really was there for me and you never told me why?" said Marcus" then i would've had a change of heart before this happend"....
" I didnt say anything because my father didnt want me to get close to you as much" said Princess
Later that day the princess and Marcus were still finishing their conversation together while they kept on walk on their journey to the bosses house. The journey was different from kelzy because she has never seen this are of the kingdom all her life so she thinkng this will help the other people her father never knew about that needs help. The princess was very tired of walking to the mans house, she wanted to stop and he didn't want to stop. They finally made it to the house and the man was waiting for her to enter the house. Once she entered he had his guys grab her and put her in a private room.
" Hello princess I finally got you" said the boss
" Why do you want me here, why did you take me away from my family" said Kelzy
" I bought you here beacause i need a favor" said the boss
" What is your favor that you want from me" said princess
" Well i want you to trick your father into giving me his thrown to the kingdom" the Boss said
" NO! never, I'm not going to do that to my father for you" the Princess screamed
" You will do what I tell you to do and you wont deny my request" as the Boss look at her with a face of anger and maddness. The Boss has the guys hold her down until she said " YES! i will do it okay just tell them to stop, they were hurting me". They let the princess go and she started crying. After everything Marcus took her back to the kingdom were her parents was going crazy looking for her. The princess ran to her parents and hugged them.
" Daughter your home and back alive" Said King Edgar
" Yes Dad home, I missed you so much" said His Daughter
" Where did you go" said the King
" Sorry daddy i can't tell you, but i have to tell you something" said Kelzy
" What is it baby?" said the father
" Well there is this person that wants you to give up your thrown, and i can't tell who it is, they said that if you don't give give it up to that person that I can't you who it is that is, he will take me away forever" said his daughter
That night the King , Kelzy's father was thinking about what she told him. He talked to her mother about it. As they were talking about the problem, the princess was thinking about what would happen to her if her father wouldn’t give the Boss of Marcus the ruler of kingdom. She is praying on that her father would think of something to do to trick the guy into not taking the thrown. That Morning when everybody woke up the father also the king had a talk with his daughter.
“Daughter I want to tell you that I do not want to give it up but we can have a plan to catch him for what he did” King Edgar
“Daddy WHYYYYYYY! I don’t want this to happen, what if it doesn’t work? I’m really scared don’t do it” crying the Princess
“Baby don’t cry. Trust me nothing will happen to you, believe me when I say that this plan will work because I have your back” Said Edgar
“Okay Father I will trust you” as the princess calms down
That morning Her Prince heard that she was back he was so happy that he was there waiting for her. Outside once she got outside the princess was grabbed into a car that nobody knew about. The prince named Kevin went after the car and lost it. The Prince went back to the castle he told her parents. Her Father started to cry because he promised that nothing will happen to her.
During that day the father is going crazy looking for his daughter and thinking were would she be. The daughter is with Marcus again, he was the one who took her in the car away. They are screaming at each other saying “TAKE ME HOME NOW!” as they go on with the conversation in the car they go back to the Bosses house.
“So is your father going to give up the kingdom to me?” the boss said
“I don’t Know ask him, I told him about your request and he might do it” said Kelzy
“NO! I don’t want might I want to have a YES!” said the boss
The boss was going on with the conversation he was yelling at the princess about the request that he is mad about. The whole day went by and the King, Princess Kelzy’s fathers found where she was because of the car and were it showed the licenses plate of the car. The king went inside to house where she was. They fought and the King told the boss that took his daughter. He told that he was never giving the thrown to you ever and you will grown old in jail for the rest of your life so you wouldn’t be a bad person in my kingdom. As the Princess went to hug her father they talked.
“Daddy you came for me! How did you find me? I was worried out of my mind” said his daughter
“Baby I’m here for you I will never let you go ever” said her father
“I believe you so much” said the princess as she hugged her father tightly
“Let’s go home” said the King
That night she made it home and her prince was waiting for her to come home and once he seen her he proposed to her and she said yes. The next morning they started planning for the wedding. After the week past the Prince and the Princess got married and they lived Happily Ever After. The Princess made it to be Queen and had the chance to fix her country to the best of the ability for her kingdom.

Shicoren Myth ( Assassin)

Once there was a great assassin who was feared by everyone in a small town called Markent.He could kill from a great distance, then flee before is victim hits the ground.His weapon of choice was always a sniper, but if was at close range it would be a knife.He became a threat to the police when he wouldn't let the police do there job.

When his son was killed by thugs, thats when he take matters into his own hands.He would never rest until he found his sons killers, and bring justice to all and bring to their town. One night as he was at home from his night job he got a phone call in the middle of the night. The person had spoke in a deep voice and had said his son was still alive. He was in shock. The assassin could not believe what he just heard. He said , it couldn't be true because he saw my son die in cold blood, and had buried him last year.The man on the phone said.

"If you want to see your son again you will do jobs for me."

He didn't know what to believe so he just agreed to do it if he really had is son.The man put his son on the phone to prove he had really had his son. Then the man said.

"You will receive a call in 24 hours."

The next night he had gotten the phone call.Their was hardly any conversation the man got right to the point.His first task was to take out the head of the Japanese mob boss. He took the task. As soon as the assasain went to the place he immediately took out his target.No one seen a thing.He would kill night after night.His plan was to not kill them but to interrogate them.he thought by doing this he would become closer to his real target and get his son back.

Review:
This story's background is great. It gives you a brief analysis of the main character and his call to adventure. Also it has good transitions from scene to scene. On the other hand it could have been longer. It also could have left the reader not knowing if he saved his son. It had a few grammatic errors. But overall it was a great story and I enjoyed reading about the skillful sniper.
